Ludlow frozen off

Officials at Ludlow have been forced to abandon today's National Hunt meeting due to frost.

Temperatures fell to well below freezing overnight and clerk of the course Bob Davies said: "It went down to minus four and it's still freezing in the air now.

"There's no point in messing anybody about."
