Irish trainer Ferdy Murphy has been fined almost €7,000 by the Jockey Club in Britain for bringing racing into disrepute.

Irish trainer Ferdy Murphy has been fined almost €7,000 by the Jockey Club in Britain for bringing racing into disrepute.

A disciplinary committee inquiry ruled that the Wexford trainer had breached Rule 220(iii) in that he had “acted in a manner which was prejudicial to the good reputation of horseracing in Great Britain”.
