Mick Channon, fresh from reaching a century of winners in a season at Yarmouth on Tuesday, is set to mount a strong challenge on Saturday‘s Tote Ayr Gold Cup.

He reached the milestone when Najeebon landed the Thomas Prior Maiden Stakes under Steve Drowne.
