Joe Fanning is set to be out of action until early next week after suffering a recurrence of the hand injury that sidelined him for three weeks.

The northern-based Irish rider broke a small bone in his right hand after being unshipped from Rocket Ridge in the Swale Pasture Novice Median Auction Stakes at Catterick on July 17.
