Coughing Hawk Wing to miss York

Aidan O’Brien has ruled Hawk Wing out of next month’s Juddmonte International Stakes at York as the colt has succumbed to a virus which has hit his string.

And the all-conquering Irish trainer admitted that a “majority” of the three-year-olds at his Ballydoyle stable are suffering from an illness which has hit the yard in the past few days.
