Quadco wins big race in Galway

The €42,000 GPT Galway Handicap, the highlight of today's racing at the first day of the Galway Festival, has been won by 16/1 shot Quadco.

Quadco, trained by Pat Fahey, won by a massive margin, winning by 14 lengths. Jockey Peter Falvey could even ease up towards the line.

Second in the race was Rathbawn Prince, who was priced at 12/1, with Moscow Retreat third at 20/1.

The favourite was 16/1 shot Elapour.
