Dermot Weld got one over on Aidan O’Brien at the Curragh today as Tiger Royal showed the benefits of the Irish air by landing his first Pattern race win.

Sagitta 2000 Guineas 20th Tendulkar was sent off 4-1 favourite to make a successful switch to sprinting for the Irish champion trainer in the six-furlong Weatherbys Ireland Greenland Stakes.
