Queen's Logic will miss the Irish 1000 Guineas at The Curragh on Sunday.

The news comes as a further blow to trainer Mick Channon after the filly was forced to miss the English equivalent at Newmarket after going lame on the eve of the race.

"She worked great on Tuesday. Her trachea wash came up bad and she's been coughing so we're not running," Channon said.

Queen's Logic had been a warm order through the winter months for the Newmarket race since she ran up a sequence of four straight wins as a juvenile, including the Lowther Stakes and Cheveley Park Stakes.

And the daughter of Grand Lodge demonstrated she had trained on when landing the Dubai Duty Free Stakes at Newbury with the minimum of fuss on her seasonal reappearance.
