High hopes for Chaparral

High Chaparral will face just four rivals as he looks to forward his Vodafone Derby claims in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial Stakes at Leopardstown tomorrow.

Aidan O’Brien’s charge is favourite for the Epsom showpiece and he will be bidding to follow in the hoofprints of last year’s blue riband winner Galileo, who took this trial on his way to Derby glory.
