Aidan O’Brien could send as many as four horses for the one mile, two furlong race, while Godolphin could be double-handed as could Sir Michael Stoute.

O’Brien’s contingent is headed by Macau Jockey Club Craven Stakes second Della Francesca but also includes Canberra, Roar Of The Tiger and Sorcerous.

Stoute could be represented by both Balakheri and the Queen’s Vodafone Derby hope Right Approach while Godolphin may run Parasol and the promising Moon Ballad.

Where Or When, placed 11th in the Sagitta 2000 Guineas, is among the acceptors as is Ed Dunlop’s Wahchi and Barry Hills’ Hills Of Gold.

Richard Hannon could send Nysaean while Mark Tompkins could be represented by Bit of Luck.

The northern defence is led by Mark Johnston’s Sir George Turner, who was second in Thursday’s Philip Leverhulme Dee Stakes at Chester and Tim Easterby’s useful prospect Bollin Eric.
