Racing: Fallon gives up today's rides
Kieren Fallon has given up his three rides at Southwell today following a fall at Brighton yesterday but aims to be back in action at two meetings tomorrow.
The champion jockey picked up a slight knock to the head when unshipped from Comfey Cracker as she bolted before the start of the Doug, Denise, Kathy and Mandie Together Again Selling Stakes.
‘‘He’s riding tomorrow he’s taken today off. There’s nothing seriously wrong,’’ said his agent Dave Pollington this morning.
And Pollington is planning a busy day for Fallon having booked him rides at Pontefract and Haydock.
‘‘We’re riding two at Pontefract Mizhar for Dandy Nicholls in the seller and In Disguise for John Dunlop in the maiden and one at Haydock Vanderlin in the last at the moment,’’ he added.
