Racing: Hawkeye set for Hong Kong test
Hawkeye was the sole British-based horse among the field announced today for next month’s Audemars Piguet QE2 Cup at Sha Tin in Hong Kong.
The four-year-old, fourth in the Hong Kong Cup on the same course last December for Michael Jarvis, is set to be joined by Godolphin’s Grandera in the second leg of the World Series on April 21.
Others selected for the race include French pair Terre A Terre and Jim And Tonic.
Sunline will represent New Zealand, after landing the 12th Group One win of her career in the Doncaster Handicap at Randwick in Australia today.
