The Easter Sunday card at Longchamp on Sunday, featuring the Prix d’Harcourt, will go ahead after French unions decided to suspend their threat of strike action.

A spokesman for France Galop, the ruling body of French racing, today confirmed that strike action had been temporarily suspended by the unions pending the outcome of further talks on Wednesday.
