Racing: Gallagher to replace Carberry in Gold Cup

Jockey Dean Gallagher, who rode Hors La Loi III to victory in the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday, will deputise for Irish jockey Paul Carberry in the Cheltenham Gold Cup this afternoon.

Carberry is unable to ride the Nicky Henderson-trained Marlborough after injuring his wrist in a heavy fall from Harbour Pilot in yesterday’s Royal and Sun Alliance Chase.
