Cheltenham: Strong Irish line-up on day two
The highlight of the day at Cheltenham is the Queen Mother Champion Chase which goes off at 2.35pm.
Seven Irish-trained horses will line up against 26 opponents in Royal and Sun Alliance Novice Hurdle at 2pm, and both Over the Bar and Ballyamber will appreciate the good ground.
Knife Edge and Native Upmanship look up against it in the Champion Chase and in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper, Alexander Millennium will probably go off favourite to give Willie Mullins his fifth success in the race.
Colonel Braxton will face 19 challengers in the Sun Alliance Novice Chase.
Yesterday, the biggest single recorded bet was stg£100,000 (€161,500) on Like a Butterfly at 9/4.
