Racing: McCoy 'devastated' at Valiramix death

Jockey Tony McCoy was left devastated today by the death of Valiramix following the Smurfit Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.

He was left sprawled on the flat after appearing to clip heels with Ansar before the penultimate flight when appearing to hold a wining chance.

Carryonharry could then make no impression in the next contest.
