Horse racing: McCoy joins Channel Four for Cheltenham

Champion jockey Tony McCoy is to join the Channel Four Racing team for coverage of the Cheltenham Festival.

He will appear every day on both The Morning Line and during the three days of the Festival (March 12-14).

Channel 4 director of strategy and sport David Brook said: ‘‘AP McCoy is racing’s greatest asset and we are delighted to have him on board for the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival.

‘‘It is another boost to our top-class racing coverage and is one of the many initiatives that Channel Four Racing will be announcing this year.’’
