Frederik Tylicki remains ‘stable’ in intensive care
The Group One-winning rider was involved in a four-horse pile-up in the Breeders Backing Racing EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes along with newly-crowned champion jockey Jim Crowley, Ted Durcan and Steve Drowne.
Durcan and Drowne walked away from the incident, but Tylicki and Crowley were taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting with suspected spinal injuries, although the latter was later released having escaped with just a broken nose.
