Air Force Blue could return to action at Goodwood

Air Force Blue and Toormore are among the big names in contention for the Qatar Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained Air Force Blue completed a hat-trick of Group One victories in the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket last October, but has been bitterly disappointing in both the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Irish version at the Curragh so far this season.

The War Front colt is one of six possible Ballydoyle challengers in the seven-furlong Group Two, with recent Leopardstown scorer Dick Whittington another leading hope.
