Bravery to get off the mark at Dundalk

Bravery can get off the mark at the third time of asking by taking the fifth race on tonight’s seven-race card at Dundalk.

Aidan O’Brien’s colt showed real promise in just one start as a juvenile, and made an encouraging return to action when sixth, beaten just five lengths, behind Embiran on soft ground last month at the Curragh.

The form of that race looks strong relative to tonight’s task, and it received a boost when fourth-placed Claudio Monteverdi, a stable companion of the selection, won next time.
