Willie Mullins considering Shaneshill for Lightning Novices attempt

Shaneshill is a surprise entry in the grand-national2016.co.uk Lightning Novices’ Chase at Doncaster on Saturday.

A total of 14 horses have the option of the Grade Two, which looks set to be a hugely competitive affair.

As well as Shaneshill, who finished runner-up in last season’s Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and is unbeaten in two starts over fences, Willie Mullins has entered Avant Tout and Net D’Ecosse.
