Fr Patrick Lawton and Thomas O’Sullivan’s November ’13 whelp was an impressive winner of his first-round heat, matching strides with flying early pacer Laughil Jet around four bends, before pulling clear late.

Drawn on the right side of that rival this time, he has a chance to get first run and, in a tight decider, that should prove crucial.
He may edge right early but Clyda Tom, in two, is also likely to do so, and that should give the selection a clear run along the inside.

Leger winner Skywalker Rory should have the second heat of the Macroom Motor Services Stake at his mercy.
The powerful runner looks certain to appreciate the step up to 575 yards for the first time, and can prove too strong for Mimis Ace.

Last time out she ran a super race to finish second, just two lengths behind Skywalker Pearl, having missed the kick and shown a distinct preference for a rails position.
Wearing red tonight, a quicker break can be expected, and she is taken to lead all the way, with Jumeirah Dancer feared most.
