Today's Tips: Hawks Apprentice set to swoop for glory at Youghal

The make-up of tonight’s race looks favourable, with the early pace on the inside. There is potential for trouble amongst those runners and the selection, who is the sole wide seed in the race, should enjoy a good run down the outside.
A strong stayer who has the ability to turn close at this A4 level, she can use her stamina to gain the day in a race in which a number of the runners need to lead to get home over the trip.
One of the most interesting races on the card is the open sprint, in which two very exciting prospects, Ballygibbon Kirk and Stunning Romeo, take on some seasoned campaigners.
The aforementioned trackers were both successful on this card last Monday night and, despite being slower on the clock, the vote goes to Ballygibbon Kirk. The signs of greenness were obvious once more but Denis Fitzgerald’s dog produced a stunning turn of pace to claim what, turning for home, looked an unlikely victory.
We haven’t seen the best of him yet but he has immense potential and will be hard to hold if breaking on terms. Much of the same applies to Stunning Romeo, who was most impressive last time. Better drawn this time, he is an obvious danger. Conna Duchess has the form in the book, but trap one can be difficult.
Monea Vettel has been out of luck recently but now looks dangerously low down the grading ladder, and will take beating from a plum draw in race three. A smart breaker, who stays strongly, he should turn close to the pace, if not in front, and will be very hard to beat. Autumn Hulk is a promising sort, who should have no trouble winning races. He and the poorly drawn Glenmare Bull rate the dangers.
