Gary Moore’s 2014 Champion Chase winner Sire De Grugy could reappear as early as next weekend at Chepstow.

Not much went right for the nine-year-old last season, but he did win at the Welsh venue before heading to Cheltenham in defence of his crown.

He was only fourth to Dodging Bullets there and was an early casualty at Aintree over two and a half miles.
