The four-year-old wasn’t good enough for smart performers Rosshaven Lady and Thumb Stone Blues on his most recent start, in a bumper at Galway, but, under a fine ride from Katie Walsh, ran a super race to take third spot, having tried to steal in from the front.

His two previous outings in bumpers, behind All The Answers and First Figaro, also gave obvious reason for optimism, and being out of a mare who won a bumper and twice over hurdles, he has the scope to make a jumper.
