Mick Winters: Rebel Fitz ‘could surprise a few people’ at Galway

Trainer Mick Winters believes Rebel Fitz could “surprise a few people” if turning out in one of the major events at next week’s Galway Festival.

The 10-year-old has won four of his five starts at Ballybrit, including the 2012 Galway Hurdle.

He has not been seen in competitive action since landing the Istabraq Hurdle at Tipperary last October, but could reappear in either the Galway Hurdle or the Galway Plate.
