De Ferbet can overcome absence in Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners’ Chase
The now five-year-old made his debut for Willie Mullins at Thurles in November, and finished runner-up behind Aerlite Supreme. Next time out, in a four-runner event, he again finished second behind a Michael Hourigan-trained runner, The Job Is Right.
There was no shame in that defeat and with the benefit of a break, the grey gelding, who carries the colours of Gigginstown House Stud, should be ready to get off the mark over fences.
