Tempo Mac can continue Gordon Elliott’s rich vein of form

Tempo Mac will be strongly fancied to continue Gordon Elliott’s rich vein of form in the Family Fun Evening At Clonmel Races Handicap Hurdle in Clonmel this evening.

Both Elliott and the five-year-old’s partner Bryan Cooper are in top form and the Antonius Pius gelding, unlucky when a second last flight faller at Kilbeggan last time, must have outstanding prospects of gaining compensation.

Tempo Mac had shown improved form in his two outings before heading to Kilbeggan, finishing fourth to Bog War at Fairyhouse before filling third spot behind Damut over today’s course and distance.
