David Wachman: Oaks trip to suit Legatissimo

David Wachman is looking forward to Legatissimo having a stiffer stamina test when she bids to add the Investec Oaks to her Qipco 1000 Guineas success at Epsom on June 5.

The filly aims to become the first since Kazzia in 2002 to complete the 1000 Guineas-Oaks double and Wachman believes it was her staying qualities that helped her win the day at Newmarket.

Speaking at the Breakfast With The Stars morning at the Surrey course yesterday, the County Tipperary-based handler said: “She seems very well and we are happy with her as she has done nothing wrong.
