Letters Of Note can build on promising debut
Since making a promising debut at Leopardstown in September, the daughter of Azamour has been given lots of time to mature.
She ran prominently throughout then, before fading a little in the final furlong to finish fourth behind Tamadhor.
The form is pretty smart, with Tamadhor and runner-up Stellar Glow performing well in defeat subsequently.
On top of that both Bocca Baciata (third) and Plus Ca Change (fifth) went on to win next time.
Aidan O’Brien’s Bishan Bedi is fancied to shrug off a massive rise in the weights in the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey And Trainer Championship Handicap.
Formerly trained in England by William Jarvis, he made a spectacular start for O’Brien on this track a week ago.
The Intikhab gelding fairly exploded from the furlongs pole to score by five and a half lengths and can make light of a mark 14lbs higher.
Togoville has done us two favours of late, but is reluctantly passed over in the Dundalk Stadium-Light Up Your Night Handicap, on the basis that six furlongs is too short for him.
The hopeful nod falls on Almadaa, who was beaten a length and quarter into second by in-form Your Pal Tal here two weeks ago.
