Bonny Kate can add to Meade’s joy

Noel Meade, fresh from an excellent Christmas, can supply the winner of the Bumper in the shape of Bonny Kate at Punchestown this afternoon.

The daughter of Beneficial was well touted when making her debut at Navan, but proved disappointing in only finishing seventh behind the impressive Lyrical Theatre.

She then returned to Navan 13 days later and was seen in a far better light.
