Ridden by Mark Walsh, the J P McManus-owned gelding jumped into the lead at the fifth and had market rival Max Dynamite in trouble turning for home before staying on strongly to triumph impressively by fourteen lengths.

“He could be anything,” declared trainer O’Grady. “He was in front sooner than we planned, but only because he’s such a good jumper.”
