Dolce can make it 13th time lucky

Dolce N Karama, having a 13th outing, can finally get lucky and enjoy a belated turn in the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey And Trainer Championship Rated Race at Dundalk tonight.

Trained by Pat Shanahan, this will be his 11th run of the current campaign and there are reasonably solid grounds for believing his time has arrived. The three-year-old produced one of his better efforts at Leopardstown on his latest appearance, finishing a length and a quarter second behind Stronger Than Me in what was a competitive ten furlongs, 17-runner handicap.

A change of tactics were adopted on that occasion and Dolce N Karama looked more than happy bowling along in front.
