Vroum Vroum Mag star of Mullins treble

Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh dominated yesterday’s action at Wexford, registering a short-priced treble with Aminabad, Measureofmydreams and Vroum Vroum Mag.

And five-year-old mare Vroum Vroum Mag, successful in a French bumper and over hurdles before being bought by Mullins for the Riccis, proved particularly impressive when making a successful chasing debut in the Kerlogue Mares Beginners Chase, final leg of the stable treble.

Tracking the leaders, Vroum Vroum Mag jumped well and produced a spectacular leap to take the lead at the ditch, four fences from home. From there, she coasted home to beat Emily Gray by nine lengths, with Down Ace third - rock-solid form when you consider that both of the placed horses were listed-placed over hurdles.
