Australia stud fee set at €50,000

Dual Derby victor Australia will command a €50,000 stud fee in his debut season as a stallion.

Australia was hugely impressive in winning both the Epsom and Irish Derbys before claiming the Juddmonte International Stakes at York.

His career ended in disappointment though when just touched off by The Grey Gatsby in the Irish Champion Stakes and a hoof injury meant an intended swansong in the British equivalent was swerved.
