Ruby Walsh retained his unbeaten record since his lengthy absence when partnering Old Castletown to an all-the-way win in the opening maiden hurdle in Tramore yesterday.

Walsh triumphed on his comeback ride, Indevan, in Tipperary on Sunday, followed-up on Morning Run at the same track on Tuesday and made it three from three here on the hooded five-year-old, which his father Ted trains for Mrs Denise Walsh.

Dropping in trip, Old Castletown dictated the pace and stayed on up the hill to keep market rival Crown Theatre at bay by almost four lengths.
