Credulous can collect

Gordon Elliott’s Credulous gets the nap in the Members’ Club 2015 three-year-old Maiden Hurdle at Ballinrobe this afternoon.

The Jeremy gelding is interesting, considering he never ran on the flat and was sent straight over jumps at Listowel nine days ago.

He certainly performed with promise, finishing half a length second behind Celtic Artisan in a winners’ event. It would be wrong to get too carried away with the form, on the basis there was less than six lengths covering the five contestants at the line.
