Condon set to leave hospital

Condon fractured three vertebrae when he came to grief on Flaxen Flare at the second-last flight in the Online Ticket Sales At corkracecourse.ie Hurdle at Mallow. He was fitted with a brace for his injured back on Tuesday and likely to have it on for three months.
“I’ve spoken to Davy and the plan is to let his home either this evening or tomorrow,” said Dr Adrian McGoldrick, senior medical officer for the Irish Turf Club.
“He’s just waiting for the doctors to come round. It may more likely be tomorrow, but everything appears to be fine to my knowledge.
“He’s in a brace now and he’ll go home in that. It will be reviewed at Cork in two weeks’ time.”
