Defy Logic on the way back

Exciting young chaser Defy Logic is back in training with Paul Nolan after recovering from a broken blood vessel at owner JP McManus’ stud in County Limerick.

Nolan believes it is too early to think of making plans for the seven-year-old, who had been shaping into a leading fancy for the Arkle Trophy at the Cheltenham Festival in the first half of last season.

Defy Logic staked a strong claim for the two-mile novice championship when winning the Grade One Racing Post Novice Chase at Leopardstown.
