Kate and Lantern in Chariot rematch

The eagerly-awaited rematch between Elusive Kate and Sky Lantern is all set for tomorrow in the Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket.

John Gosden’s multiple Group One winner Elusive Kate narrowly beat Richard Hannon’s 1000 Guineas winner in the Falmouth Stakes but hung left, hampering the grey inside the final furlong.

Sky Lantern’s connections appealed the decision but the result stood and they will be eager to set the record straight this weekend.
