Overturn ‘unlikely’ for Punchestown

Donald McCain is unlikely to send Overturn for the Ryanair Novice Chase at Punchestown on Thursday.

The Cholmondeley trainer’s talented versatile performer will instead probably go for the bet365.com Celebration Chase at Sandown on the final day of the British jumps season on Saturday.

McCain is concerned the ground in Ireland will be too soft for Overturn, who was last seen finishing second to Special Tiara in the Maghull Novices’ Chase at Aintree on Grand National day.
