Gale Force Ten can make amends

Aidan O’Brien’s Gale Force Ten can land the Listed Elusive Pimpernel Patton Stakes at Dundalk tonight.

The worry is that a lot of O’Brien’s horses have seemed to badly need their initial run so far this campaign, but the selection has a lot in hand, between 13lbs and 20lbs, on his five rivals and literally picks himself.

He mixed it with some of the best juveniles last season, finishing with a cracking effort in the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket in October.
