CHELTENHAM: Patrick adds another perfect picture to Mullins family album

As with any family home, there must have been countless photographs adorning the walls of the Mullins household when Patrick was a growing boy but the amateur jockey could recall just two yesterday after his first win at the festival over fences.

One was a picture of his father Willie riding Hazy Dawn to victory for his own dad Paddy in the National Hunt Chase in 1982. The other was of his old man, too, this time aboard Macks Friendly in the same race two years later.

Paddy was the trainer then too.
