Verdict can show her true colours

True Verdict’s undoubted class should see her overcome a three-month absence and a high draw in the two-year-old fillies maiden in Dundalk tonight.

David Wachman’s filly, a daughter of Danehill Dancer, looked an exciting prospect in the early months of the season but hasn’t been seen since flopping in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown in July.

But her overall form is rock-solid in the context of tonight’s seven-furlong contest. And a reproduction of any of three previous runs will suffice.
