Fab four for Halford

Highlight of Halford’s haul was the emphatic victory of the progressive four-year-old Russian Soul, under apprentice Conor Hoban, in the one-mile Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Handicap.

The Invincible Spiriti gelding beat Captain Joy by a length and a half, prompting Halford to comment: “He’s big and strong and improving with racing. He did well to win from an outside draw. He loves that surface.”
