Bouillabaisse can make winning hurdling debut
The six-year-old is lightly raced, having run in just three bumpers so far and winning her last two.
The selection was last seen in action at the Curragh in May, producing a decent performance to beat the smart The Mighty Milan by three parts of a length.
The mare was returning from a long break on that occasion, so certainly appears to run well fresh.
The opening Tote Pick Six Maiden Hurdle is probably best left to Decade Player, although whether travelling right-handed is ideal remains to be seen.
He did show a tendency to hang left when runner-up behind Landenstown Lady at Clonmel last time, but has been given a rating of 123 and is worth risking, in a weak contest.
Feature event at Fairyhouse is the richly endowed Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sale Race and this may fall to David Wachman’s top weight, Three Sea Captains.
He is going forward, battling strongly to beat Boston Rocker and the subsequent winner, Leitir Mor, in a Listed event at the Curragh. As long as the ground rides reasonably good, Wachman’s Slope can deliver in the Admission Only €10 Maiden, having got bogged down twice in testing conditions of late.
Michael Halford’s Sure Reef is the choice to leave a poor effort at Galway behind him in the Tattersalls Ireland November Yearling Sale Handicap.
That Galway effort came only six days after he appeared to be progressing at a rate of knots on the same track, when beating Encrypted Message (gave 8lbs) by three and three quarter lengths.
At his best Sure Reef is more than capable of making all of the running now and a break of 50 days is, hopefully, just what was required.
