As long as the ground rides reasonably good, Wachman’s Slope can deliver in the Admission Only €10 Maiden, having got bogged down twice in testing conditions of late.
Michael Halford’s Sure Reef is the choice to leave a poor effort at Galway behind him in the Tattersalls Ireland November Yearling Sale Handicap.
That Galway effort came only six days after he appeared to be progressing at a rate of knots on the same track, when beating Encrypted Message (gave 8lbs) by three and three quarter lengths.
At his best Sure Reef is more than capable of making all of the running now and a break of 50 days is, hopefully, just what was required.
