Hamilton double for Flat convert Lee

Graham Lee continues to force the pace in what has already been a dream start to his new career as winners number 51 and 52 arrived at Hamilton yesterday.

The Irishman has been quickly noticed by some of the top trainers like Ed Dunlop and Michael Stoute since he moved to the Flat from the jumps at the start of this season and hit the half century for the former at Ripon on Tuesday.

Ann Duffield has long been an admirer, and gave the rider the mount on newcomer Willie The Whipper, who quickened eight lengths clear as the 6-4 favourite for the British Stallion Studs EBF Debutants Maiden Stakes.
