Geraghty: Here’s to the next 1,000

Top National Hunt rider Barry Geraghty has no intention of resting on his laurels after notching a landmark 1,000th Irish winner on Sunday.

Geraghty rode a treble at Cork, with the middle leg, David Wachman’s Pageboy, bringing up the milestone for the Grand National winning jockey.

And while that was pretty much an armchair ride, he showed in sealing his treble on Prunella Dobbs’ Face Facts that he remains at the top of his game.
