Pat Smullen goes to York to partner Weld’s Pale Mimosa in the Galtres Stakes, so the Rosewell House maestro turns to up and coming Shane Foley to partner the three-year-old.

The selection ran badly on fast ground in the Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh in late May and was then given a decent break, before returning at the Galway festival earlier this month. Meeting her favoured soft surface, Yellow Rosebud was beaten a head into second by Lady Wingshot.
