Edison should make light of task

THE classy Thomas Edison should prove hard to beat in the Dawn Omega Milk Novice Hurdle at Killarney this afternoon.

He was far too good for Champagne Fever, successful subsequently at both the Cheltenham and Punchestown festivals, in a bumper at Leopardstown at Christmas.

The selection reappeared over flights at Gowran Park last month and was set to mount a serious challenge when falling at the second last, contest won by the useful Maxim Gorky.
